Since the launch of cryptocurrencies in 2009, the industry has been completely occupied with numerous issues and developments. In the last 2 years, the crypto-blockchain industry has become even more serious and has had no element of entertainment added to it.
Although the industry has been gaining mainstream success and adoption, it is still too far away when it comes to entertaining its users and contributors.
Therefore, to bring some joy and happiness to the crypto-blockchain platform, a very interesting announcement has been made. As per reports, the announcement has been made by two crypto-entities where one belongs to the charity sector and the other one to the news/reporting.
As per reports, the crypto-reporting firm ‘Cointelegraph’ and crypto-charity firm ‘Giving Block’ have recently collaborated to introduce a trivia contest. This is will be the first-ever trivia contest launched in the crypto-blockchain industry.
The trivia will be based on the knowledge and information around Cryptocurrencies where the brains of the crypto-enthusiasts and followers will be tested.
Both firms have unanimously announced that they will be launching and hosting the first-ever ‘Crypto’s Biggest Brain’ trivia contest. The contest will be held on December 16, 2021 (Friday) and the time of its commencement will be at 19:00 ET.
Apart from the entertainment element, Cointelegraph has also revealed what more they are aiming to achieve from this contest. The firm stated that they are planning to attract more stakeholders and investors to the cryptocurrency platform. In addition to this, the tournament will also provide exposure to the cryptocurrency platform and help raise donations for non-profits that are crypto-friendly.
When it comes to sponsors, the tournament will be receiving sponsorship from some of the biggest names in the cryptocurrency industry. Some of the biggest crypto-firms participating in the tournament as sponsors are Ledge and Gemini and many more.
These crypto-giants are after the same goal as Giving Block and Cointelegraph. By participating in this tournament, these firms also are aiming to bring more exposure, recognition, and user-base to the crypto-industry. Furthermore, these firms also aim to encourage more stakeholders to contribute by donating to crypto-friendly non-profit platforms.
The participants in the tournament will be competing against each other to answer trivia based on cryptocurrencies. The participant who defeats all other contestants would emerge as the bearer of the ‘Crypto’s Biggest Brain’ trophy.
In addition to the trophy, the winner of the competition will have an exclusive interview with Cointelegraph.
The firms have also announced prizes for the participants and viewers who decide to donate to the non-profits. The users who make a donation of $100 or more for the non-profit crypto-friendly platforms will win a Ledger Nano S.
