Congratulations to the Shiba Inu community on its latest achievement within the ecosystem. After revealing plans for the Metaverse on the network in mid-April, developers are now notifying the Shib Army of the subsequent upgrade they call HUB: The WAGMI TEMPLE.
What Is The SHIB Metaverse?
Eric M, a developer of Shiba Inu, explained the SHIB Metaverse as a point of convergence for all SHIB belongings. These are the tokens, community, ShibSwap, et al. It will host virtual features such as real estates, where characters in the space can purchase landed properties and build houses.
Users will be able to mint 100,965 plots of land after the event kicks off. A landowner can earn passively from their substance, get compensations and acquire assets from the digital world.
The team plans to sell 36,431 portions of land to interested buyers at the inauguration of the project. Notwithstanding, more than 5,600 buys currently own over 19,000 pieces of land. Shiba non-fungible tokens, known as Shiboshi NFTs, will grant the holder access to the private realms of the Metaverse.
Everything found inside the Metaverse will be named in correlation with Shiba Inu. The lands, the houses, and the characters, among others, will bear a Shiba-related name.

The developers never cease to update the community about each stage of its development. Recently, they organized a team they call “the eyes, the ears, and the voice of the community” and tasked them with communicating the needs and suggestions of members. Moreover, setting up this team will help to be at one with the SHIB Army throughout each stage of building their digital world.
According to a blog post, one of the devs claims interacting with members of the SHIB Army will help attain the best outcome. Also adding that it will develop cooperation between the developers and the community.
What is the WAGMI TEMPLE HUB?
The HUB is a premium component of the Metaverse. It holds a lot of value compared to other portions within the space. As of now, users are not allowed access to it.
The teams overseeing the layout of the WAGMI TEMPLE HUB said the idea came from the structure of some Asian and South African temples. According to the developers of the HUB, they ensured the temple shares a near physical experience like a serene atmosphere, an environment for meditation, and a spiritual connection with the real world.
Shiba Inu network has founded many projects since its advent, and one of its achievements is the Metaverse. Each of the ideas to develop the community was given a use case by the community. Furthermore, the developers received perpetual support from the SHIB Army as they worked on each project.
As for the Metaverse project, the plan is to make it compete against other Metaverse projects like Decentraland and The Sandbox. Hopefully, this move will allure the presence of potential investors in the SHIB ecosystem.
