The American Cancer Society is an organization set up to fight cancer in the country and beyond. In its bid to be financially buoyant, the organization has launched a fundraising program in which people are expected to donate cryptocurrencies alone.

The Cancer Crypto Fund aims to raise at least $1 million
Officially known as Cancer Crypto Fund, the donation exercise is expected to generate at least $1 million worth of cryptocurrency before the end of April 2021. Interestingly, the first person to donate at least $250,000 is privileged to rename the fund after themselves. Such person acne equally decides to name it after a loved one, depending on their preference.
Cryptocurrency has a significant role to play in curing cancer

Meanwhile, all the income generated through the Cancer Crypto Fund will be invested in its mission to find the best and modern-day method of treating cancers. Having invested more than $4.9 billion into cancer research since 1946, the ACS is confident more funds will be generated before the end of the year in order to enhance its mission for the year.

He claimed that the series of all-time high witnessed by Bitcoin and the new crypto-only funding program provides crypto investors and traders the platform to donate a considerable amount of digital assets.
Since its creation in 2018, Giving Block often receives at least $300 million, which are directed to more than 120 organizations in different countries. The Tor Project, the National Society of Black Engineers, and United Way Worldwide are partnered with the Giving Block to solicit crypto donations.
