As its substitute, a new project was developed by a famous cryptocurrency management corporation named VC.
The new huge undertaking Paradigm will be incorporated into the ETH framework to be used instead of the former Akula management system. The news was posted on Twitter just a few days ago.
The engineering team of the Akula service tweeted also with his comments on the situation. He stated his disappointment because of the choice of its competitor by the Ethereum company. He said that it was impossible for Akula to compete with its huge market rival.
The project will no longer be supported. He also accused the competitor organization that it was just copying their system and code while gaining more benefits and profits. But still, Akula will be present for everyone as an open source platform.

The report of the Akula CEO also featured some info about the inquiries of the Paradigm development leader about the operation of Akula.
It was stated that the engineer was interested in very specific info about the Akula service work. That might be considered as evidence of plagiarism.
Moreover, Akula CEO also questioned about the product Paradigm was working on, but was ignored by the rival company.
Soon after, Akula discovered that Paradigm was developing a likewise system of node management. And it surpassed Akula really quickly and now became its substitute in the Ethereum framework.
Future of the project
So, after the news, the CEO of Akula decided to shut down the project as no more funding can be attracted, and it has no point in working on the system anymore.
So in the future that company will be shut down, but the code will be open for any interested person and can be utilized by anyone who wishes to create new frameworks and systems alike.
