A former rapper Logic with the real name Robert Bryson Hall II reveals he bought Bitcoin worth $6 million last month and even changed his Twitter name to “Bobby Bitcoin.”
The Grammy-nominated rapper revealed in his Instagram video that he “bought six million in Bitcoin last month.” What’s more, he called this purchase move a YOLO which stands for You Live Only Once. At the time he bought BTC, the price value was standing at $13,500 but now the coin is exchanging hands at $18,200 after a growth of 25%. He has already earned a profit of $2 million in just a month.
Twitter Name Changes to “Bobby Bitcoin”
In support of Bitcoin, he has even changed his Twitter handle name “Bobby Bitcoin” and asked his followers to call him by this new name. There are almost 2.4 Twitter followers of him which is a good way of exposing Bitcoin to the masses.
He was a reputed rapper but he retired from the profession after he became a father and committed to spending time with the family. But now, he has become a Bitcoiner after his purchase of six million in the world’s leading digital asset.
Logic is not the first celebrity to join the crypto race as many others have praised Bitcoin in the past. Recently, Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams asked his Twitter following about investing in Bitcoin. The next day after her tweet, she claimed to have bought Bitcoin.
The celebrity wave comes after many Wall Street investors expressed their desire to buy Bitcoin. This year the accumulation of the top digital asset has become a top trend as it is due to investors’ funding that Bitcoin is close to overturning the all-time high value. The major institutions who join the crypto industry include payment giant PayPal, investment firm MicroStrategy, payment company Square and many others.
According to market experts, Bitcoin is on a way to break an all-time high as it is currently exchanging hands at $18,276.
