As per the latest reports, Nomura Holdings Inc., one of the largest financial brokerages in Japan has made an announcement for the crypto-community. The brokerage has announced that it has launched a new subscription service for the cryptocurrency community.

According to the offer, the cryptocurrency community has the opportunity to do something new with delivery service for high-end Italian food. The firm has announced that through the service, the customers would have the ability to either purchase the food dishes or even trade them.

The security tokens being offered through the blockchain network represent parcels for four luxury foods. These parcels are created by Masayuki Okuda, a famous chef from Japan.

Masayuki Okuda is a very famous chef in Japan who currently has two restaurants in the capital city of Japan, Tokyo. Both restaurants run by Okuda in Tokyo are well-established and offer high-end dishes to the guests.

One of the major attributes of Okuda includes his using his own personal cooking style. He is known for cooking his guests and clients some very unique and niche kind of delicacies. Some of the most prominent and unusual dishes he has served his guests/clients include zusayam chicory and olive-fed beef.

The brokerage has announced that for the customers to subscribe to the Italian restaurant, they would have to pay 60,000 Japanese yen on an annual basis. At the time of writing, the particular amount translates to $546. In addition to the annual subscription fee, the users would also be required to pay up to 3,000 yen ($27.30) as an up-front payment for membership.

The restaurant service has also provided the names of major dishes that the customers would have access to. Some of the major dishes include asparagus pizza, corn, and chicken tortellini, pumpkin ravioli, and many more.

The firm has announced that initially, the customers would be able to purchase their dishes through the service. However, starting next year (2022), the users would also be able to trade their dishes with other customers.

It was back in 2020 when Nomura had laid the foundation for the particular project. Last year, Nomura had offered customers the ability to purchase cryptocurrency tokens, so they could gain real-life experience of the dishes.

In the pilot phase last year, the users could use the purchased tokens to order the soups that were made through the asparagus plants. The special thing about these plants was that they were grown by Nomura Farm Hokkaido Co., which is the subsidiary of Nomura.

Nomura has announced that it is not going to limit its services and dishes to Italian cuisine. In the coming years, it is going to branch out its services to more customers and clients by offering other cuisines.
