The International Olympics Committee has seen a lot of problems due to the ongoing pandemic restrictions. This year, the Olympic Games were set to be hosted by Tokyo before it was postponed due to the quarantine restrictions. The athletic sports promoter has now partnered with a game development company nWay, based in San Francisco.

nWay is the company behind the power rangers gaming series. In affiliation with the Olympics Committee, the sporting franchise is working on introducing commemorative NFT pins. The first installment of the NFT collection is part of the Olympics Heritage Collection, covering a 125 years long era of endeavors. One of these non-fungible tokens is the pin showcasing the Munich Olympics that was introduced in 1972 that is remembered for preparing the first-ever official mascot for the Olympics in the history of the games.

The Fans of the Olympic Games would be Able to Buy the NFT Pins this Month

The sports fans would not have to wait for a long time to get their hands on the much-awaited Olympics NFT pins. The purchasers would be able to access these non-fungible tokens from the nWay platform as soon as 17th June 2021. There are speculations that these rate collectibles might increase in price as time passes since Tokyo Olympics have become a highly anticipated event.

Many sports fans and athletes show an interest in the pins and even try to place pre-orders. The nWay company would also introduce an Olympics-based video game later in 2021. While the spectators are not sure that how much more delay would be caused to the Tokyo Olympics event, these digital knick-knacks are a great way to appease the audience in the meantime.

Cardano and Ethereum Founders Agree to Dissolve their Differences

Before Charles Hoskinson launched the third generation blockchain project, Cardano, he was on the co-founding team of Ethereum. However, after he was ousted from the group pertaining to disagreements, he slammed the silver cryptocurrency by calling it a dumpster fire. In 2020, Vitalik Buterin cast a glance at the Cardano project claiming that he sees some interesting things coming out of the Cardano project despite the differences.

Meanwhile, Charles Hoskinson claimed in a new podcast that he and Buterin have grown since then and become more mature. He also added that the Russian-Canadian blockchain programmer is confident and follows his instincts. He was speaking at the Lex Friedman Podcast. Without shedding any further light on the cold war between ADA and ETH, Hoskinson closed the discussion by claiming that Cardano now does things more responsibly.
