Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange is helping out India to cope with the emergency of oxygen by sending the oxygen connectors. As the whole world is suffering due to the outcomes of COVID-19 and almost every institution of the world is in darkened phase as the second wave of COVID-19 has worsened the circumstances. Right now, India is at the top of the list of the countries being affected by the second wave. Thousands of cases have been reported in the last 24 hours and hundreds of people are dying in India on daily basis due to COVID-19 and significant deficiency of Oxygen to treat the patients.
International aids are being sent to India on daily basis to help out India in the hour of need and to ease in the emergency of Oxygen. And in this crucial situation, the crypto industry is not leaving behind as the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance is helping out India by donating more than 1000 oxygen connectors.
Changpeng Zhao, the Chief Executive Officer of Binance Cryptocurrency Exchange disclosed the aid in a tweet, in which he stated that till now 175 oxygen connectors worth $200,000 have been sent to India which would be in use within the following week. Moreover, he said that this isn’t all as Binance is working to send more than 1000 oxygen as goodwill to India in the pandemic situation to cope with the prevailing oxygen emergency in India
World Health Organization (WHO) and British Asian Trust shared the prevailing condition of COVID-19 in India and the urgency of Oxygen to cope with the emergency. The current pandemic situation in India is highly worsened as till total of 19.2 million COVID cases and 212K death cases have been reported during the 2nd and 3rd waves of COVID-19. Many countries, institutions, and platforms, and organizations are sending help to India mainly in the form of oxygen which is a leading problem in India right now.
Binance known to be the biggest cryptocurrency exchange in the crypto world in terms of trading volume is also the first crypto exchange to send help in huge volume by sending more than 1000 oxygen connectors as 175 oxygen connectors are on the way to India and furthermore rest of oxygen connectors to deliver within a coming couple of weeks.
