Coin Battle: Top Winners / Losers of August; BSV Least, Chainlink Up Most

What do you think about the month of August, was it good or not? It actually depends on which coins do you talking about. For many in the big market, it was a perfect month for many in the top ten coins by market capitalization.

August was a month filled big revenue finance (DeFi) developments, mainly for the yield farming category, with definite coins seems a major run upwards in that ecosystem and some of them dropped as well.

It could say that August was the month of new yearly high, greenery potential bull runs, and overall considered positive.

Top Ten Coins

Compared to the last month, (BTC) bitcoin surpassed $12000 and hitting the highest in a year. This was a continuation from the month of July that it touches $12000 reported on back then.

Altcoins goes up as well, with (ETH) Ethereum reached up to $400 and up to $463. The long-awaited Ethereum Medalla Testnet was also launched in the mid of August. Followed by the number of major issues, it seems to have been under control.

If we considering the overall performance of the top 10 coins, (LINK) Chainlink appears as an obvious winner by reaching more than 90%.Chainlink experienced with another price increasing in August be entering in the top ten list., and flipping (BCH) bitcoin cash in the process.

The second position placed Ethereum climbed below ten percent. The only further coin [not Stablecoin (USDT) tether into account] that reached up over the past thirty days is only (BNB) Binance coin.

On the other hand, the majority of the coin prices went down in August. (BSV) Bitcoin experienced the largest drop over 20% followed by (ADA) Cardano, XRP and BCH respectively, all of them had double-digit drops.

Top Ten Winners
